On August 1, 2014, Bally and Scientific Games Corporation ("SGC") announced the signing of a definitive merger agreement pursuant to which SGC will acquire Bally in a merger valued at roughly $3.3 billion. As a result of the merger, Bally shareholders are only anticipated to receive $83.30 per share in cash. There appears to be six wall street analysts that have set higher price targets for the Company, ranging from $87-$88 per share.
