I kinda have the feeling that Heddle tried to dump this whole thing off on some "engineering firm" (or anyone willing to step up) for anything above scrap-metal value, but failed in his attempt. Bordynuik and JBI just aren't capable of passing the laugh-test for anyone who's more sophisticated than the naive pink sheet gamblers who bought into the lies.
Imagine the discussion with a potential buyer doing basic due diligence:
Q: Do you have any education, knowledge or experience remotely related to the device you claimed to have designed?
Bordy: Nope.
Q: Describe your IP position on your technology.
Bordy: We have none, other than the comments in an International Search Report indicating that none of our claims would be allowable in view of what is already described in issued patents owned by others.
Q: Have you ever been prosecuted for stock fraud or other securities crimes?
Bordy: Yes, twice.
Q: Have you ever admitted to willfully committing securities crimes?
Bordy: Yes.
Q: Can you give us a verifiable technical report showing exactly what your machine does, documenting costs of input and value of output?
Bordy: Nosiree.
Q: Oh, I see. Thank you very much Mr. Bordynuik. Just wait here while I call my bank to set up an $8,000,000.00 payment, so we can buy an unpatentable machine designed by a rank amateur who admits to being a crook, liar and fraudster, without any proof that it his machine can do anything.
Bordy: Perfect, here's the wire number for my offshore account.
