- Crayola previously didn't have any green way to dispose of markers so they contracted with JBI because of Mr. Bordynuik's unsubstantiated claims of being green. That was enough to fit the bill for Crayola's green initiative which Crayola uses to convince consumers that Crayola is a earth-friendly company so Crayola can sell more product.
- Crayola then kicks JBI to the curb.
- Crayola, still without any green way of disposing of markers, continues to promote their 'Colorcycle' program to generate positive PR as if they actually have a green method of recycling markers...which they don't.
I believe Crayola is guilty of consumer fraud and deceptive business practices. I hope Crayola gets called out on that.
