Education and information are the keys to successful trading! Many portray over the counter markets as being a den of liars and thieves all positioned to take your hard earned money and make it their own.
I have a different viewpoint and have often commented to friends and associates that today's technology provides all the tools that are needed to make winning decisions in a unique environment with a very real opportunity to make enormous profits.
What is not prevalent in the market is an organized mechanism designed to give the advantage to the retail investors like you and me.
With your help, That is about to change
But first, a little about "Why" followed by "How".
I have a 19 and a 16 year old daughter. I see the 19 year old in college, doing various jobs, trying to pay tuition, buy books, pay for gas for her car (compliments of dad) and remember when I did the very same thing but much later in life. I recognize that both she and my younger daughter will go through college, get jobs, make a living and probably raise a family (not to soon).
I also recognize that she has a very unique advantage. A way to step out and rise above economic challenges that many millions of us can identify with.But she and many others are unlikely without benefit of education to recognize opportunity and to then position herself to be a "winner" in life's cycle of economics without a winning game plan. Look at it this way. Working for a living is a means to make money. Money allows you to have a standard of life, either good or bad. What is generally missing in high school and college educations is how to make money in the stock market
Think of the stock market as a secondary means of generating revenue. Like myself, many of you are probably still employed or retired, many probably have kids, either very young,in college and high school (like mine) or out of the nest entirely.
Now a little about "How"
Strength is literally in numbers, education and self application. I will be using social media as a tool, sort of a gathering place for education. There is no cost but there is an expectation that members are serious about bettering their own economics through applied learning.
Think of it as running your own business. You are the sole employee and your inventory is stock you buy and sell. Learning how, why and when to buy and sell is all about investing in yourself.
We will explore what is the role of market makers and how to identify liquidity patterns.How to identify trends and trade within those trends, learn entry and exit points, define a trading strategy, learn corporate finance and strategies and how those strategies impact shareholders. Learn why share structure is important and how to use it to your advantage, learn to identify companies that have a high probability of success and be able to articulate why success is likely, learn how to identify and alert members on possible pump and dump schemes, identify due diligence, reporting resources and much more to come.
I am starting this with Investors Hangout. I will be using Facebook and have set up OTCTRADER on Facebook for members to sign up. I will also be using Youtube to feature Member analysis of stocks, entry and exit pricing and measuring accuracy.
This is an open invitation to anyone interested, I will be providing updates as progress occurs.
