FLIR Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:FLIR) today announced financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2014. Revenue was $369.4 million, down 5% compared to second quarter 2013 revenue of $389.3 million. Operating income in the second quarter was $59.4 million, compared to $70.3 million in the second quarter of 2013, and was impacted by $3.5 million in pretax charges related to previously-announced restructuring initiatives. Second quarter 2014 net income was $44.8 million, or $0.31 per diluted share, compared with net income of $50.2 million, or $0.35 per diluted share in the second quarter a year ago. The net after tax impact of the restructuring charges in the second quarter was approximately $2.7 million, or $0.02 per diluted share. Cash provided by operations in the second quarter was $70.6 million.
