"History is a good place to start . . . when the Russians (USSR) shot down Korean 007, President Reagan prohibited Aeroflot from flying into the United States for several years. The Russians did NOTHING to the U.S., and the U.S. carriers flew into Moscow without a hiccup in their schedule.
Why do you suppose this is? Because politics, which often gets the most attention, is really secondary to money. Their economy is more impacted by our dollars going there, than ours is by their rubles coming here.
Anything short of a war, will not see a significant impact upon commerce between the two countries, IMHO, therefore, I see little chance of Baltia being impacted by the current events."
