Re: TheProgressive #1377

How many now in this stock are planning to sell anytime prior to late next year?  I would say only those urgently needing funds and CTIX stock would be the last resource they turn to to get needed funds.  For these people, I can see a fast rise is what they need.  A slow uptick in price is all the better for us wanting to keep adding shares from now til next summer.  All a big share price (say $10) in Feb/Mar will do for me is have something nice to look at when I check the totals in my brokerage account.  It certainly won't mean I am going to sell any.  Thus, I can't see the urgency in the stock hitting the fast lane for price appreciation.  I am perfectly willing to let it simmer another 6 months but I don't think that will happen, much to my chagrin.  The earliest I can sell is late Oct 2013 so all my stock will be long term holdings.

I do want the data to show p21 markers and tumors to be shrinking as early as possible but I would like that coupled with a slow price rise (won't happen).

Just saying to some investors like me a fast price rise is not the Holy Grail.  It will come I feel by late next year and I hope it comes in a big, big swoosh right at the end of the year.

I actually hope a buyout could be delayed 4 years as I expect capital gains rates will be exorbitant in a very short time frame.  Not saying this in a political sense but that it is an area govt seems to be honing in on to acquire the funds they need.  Lucky about half my investment is in ROTH IRA's.  Hope every investor is using the ROTH route to the fullest advantage.

Edit:  Hadn't read your recent post prior to writing this post.
