Delivered on time and on budget, the application will help to improve reporting capabilities, enhance service levels to clients and accelerate payments. Further efficiencies are anticipated as a result of the Infor SunSystems' role in an ongoing program designed to integrate financial management and property management systems.
CDS Co-Operatives is the largest secondary housing co-operative in England. It not only serves tenants of its own but also provides financial and housing services to other co-operatives. Its previous legacy application was not delivering the management accounting capabilities CDS required to support all areas of its business. This led to a reliance on spreadsheets, which was not only time intensive but meant that staff were used for low-level tasks such as data entry, instead of delivering business analysis. There was also a cumbersome paper-based invoicing process that took up substantial amounts of time.
CDS chose Infor SunSystems on the basis of its reporting functionality; the application's intuitive ease of use and Infor's commitment to an accelerated deployment timetable. The project was completed on budget and on time which was particularly important as CDS faced the additional pressure of an audit. Now fully operational, Infor SunSystems will be integrated with CDS' existing housing management software to deliver further efficiencies.
