CORAL SPRINGS, FL--(Marketwired - July 23, 2014) - Union Dental Holdings, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: UDHI) www.uniondental.com/ir -- a provider of multi-state dental services for union members, announced today as a part of its Joint Venture Agreement with Drinkable Air (DA) that the testing procedures have been established and the companies are working with a Nationally Certified Water Testing Lab to certify the results. The prototype Green Ozonator that was produced by Drinkable Air has been working flawlessly in Union Dental's facility. The next step was to develop a rigorous testing program and certify the results. All testing will be completed by mid-August 2014.
The tests will mirror the procedures prepared for use in a dental operatory and the water will be tested every hour and sent to the lab for certification. This will give the Joint Venture the data necessary to send out to all of the Dental and Regulatory agencies that Dr. Green has met with and provided information of the Green Ozonator as a solution to contamination in the dental water lines.
OSHA recently discussed the problems of bacteria in the dental water lines and stated in the article, "This case emphasizes the life-and-death importance of implementing -- and monitoring -- effective infection control protocols for cleaning and maintaining dental waterlines." To minimize this potential source of contamination, waterlines must be aseptically maintained with the same thoroughness as other aspects of the dental operatory."
