I have no problem with misanthrope's attitude. I

The truth is, misanthrope's concerns are completely valid until we see otherwise. The problem with him is that he totally gave up, and clearly didn't consider the money as "lost". The other problem with him is that he can't separate the stock performance from the company performance, and I think that is a very common problem down here in pennyland from what I can see.
I also think people have unreasonable expectations of investor relations. When you buy shares on the open market, you're buying them from someone else, not from the company. You're NOT benefitting the company at all by buying those shares. You're basically trading money for baseball cards and hoping you land an Honus Wagner. So people get this attitude like the CEO works for them and badger the hell out of her and her employees. Imagine for one second that you were trying to do your job, and you constantly had someone in your ear asking you about what's next, what do you have planned, why did you do that, etc. I wouldn't be able to work. That sounds debilitating to me.
Here's my take on the whole situation: Do I think this could be a scam? Sure, it's a penny stock! But that doesn't mean I think it is a scam. Hell, if it was, I'd hope it'd be a little better of one than peaking at 5 cents. If it was a scam, it did a much better job a few years ago when it got past a dollar. So if this is a scam, this scam did not go as planned for them. Additionally, if they were trying to create a scam business, why vodka? Why not weed? Or some BS technology sector scam that people won't understand? People get vodka! And it's tangible. So you have product, and we know you have product, so what would be the benefit of it being a scam? You're better off trying to sell the stuff!
I hate MoneyTV. I don't want to attract investors. I want to attract drinkers. I want people to like Marani. I want people to talk about Marani. I want people to request Marani at bars and liquor stores. I want Marani to succeed, and if Marani succeeds, MRIB will succeed.
At this point in time, we're still in infancy in terms of brand recognition. I don't think there's that many people "on the sidelines" so to speak. I think the people that know about it and want in are in, maybe adding cautiously down at these levels, maybe not. I think we just need to wait it out and see what develops in terms of growth and brand recognition. More eyes will make this much healthier and will stabilize the stock on a meteoric rise. But it will take time, and I don't need a PR to come out and tell me, "Investors, we've reached 20 more mouths this week with our vodka." If it's a good product and they market it well, it will sell. If not, then we bomb. So it's not like misanthrope is necessarily wrong. He could very well be right. Maybe we're heading down the same wrong path. Let's just hope that we're not.
I consider my money "lost", so let's see what happens and hope Marani starts getting some big time attention soon. Oh, and this isn't even touching on the nebulous international contracts. I'm still disappointed we missed the World Cup, very disappointed. But that doesn't eliminate Marani as a contender.
