Just guessing again. If it's Elan - they're big. And they have long working relationship with J&J and Pfizer. If it's Elan, the nondisclosure might be delaying war with Pfizer - or - it could be behind the scenes codevelopment agreement with Pfizer (getting cut or percentage of future profits if the European combo successful). All conjecture. I'm just playing out the scenario that makes most sense to me. If it's Elan then ultimately it could be Pfizer responsible for both externally supported trials...without being too obvious and causing ctix sp to prematurely rise to level beyond what they want to pay for buyout. WAG.
