From an experienced vodka drinker imo: Alright

Alright - got my bottle of Marani yesterday and took my first sample this evening...... for background, I drink vodka almost exclusively as my adult beverage of choice, having consumed in some of the more well established vodka houses across the country (Russian Vodka Room and Russion Samovar Room in NYC, Red Square in Vegas, among many others). My vodkas of choice are Tito's (extremely high quality/very reasonably priced), Chopin (potato - every vodka drinker ought to have a favorite potato vodka), and Pravda. Just for background, Grey Goose is my fallback when none of the above are available, Crystal Head is outrageously overpriced (and not that good), Ciroc is swill (all IMO and only offered to give you an idea of where my taste runs).
Marani bottle is ok - not fancy, frosted lightly, simple. The product (thus far taken straight) is smooth, velvety texture (closer to Chopin than Tito's, for example). Doesn't have the bite of some products, which I consider overall a plus. It's good - maybe very good after I experiment with it and some mixers. I can see why it snagged some awards. At the least a solid offering. If I thought it were swill, I would say it - it's not, but again drinking is a personal deal and your mileage, as they say, may vary.
