A note on the recent PR from JBI. This statement:
Post# of 43064
"the Company is working very closely with a highly regarded national engineering firm and its clients to complete sales of processors, which such firm is currently qualifying the JBI 'Flagship Processor' for sales to its clients. The Company intends to focus on the technology, develop unique feed systems for customer-specific requirements, and to manufacture the core processor components. "
I have worked for large engineering firms. While this sounds great, bear in mind that engineering firms only care about billings and billing ratios. Any kind of product sale is counter to this objective, so they don't typically get involved for any percentage of product revenues. This might represent good PR for the engineering firm and may get them in a client's door. It might also generate significant revenues.
I know that the term "qualify" is well used here. The processor must meet all of the environmental and operational requirements of the owner.
Also, JBI lacks financial backing. An engineering firm could produce that. And, JBI could focus on core technology. Again, makes sense.
But, after all of that, I doubt that the Owner is going to pay anywhere near 9 Million dollars. Worst case, this is just a vehicle for PR purposes and billings by the engineering company.
