I believe you will have to clearly define the word "in-a-pro-pri-ate" for him - and may I suggest you keep all words in the definition less than 3 syllables each.
Further, if you make the explanation too long, you run the chance of him glancing off the page and looking around and trying to figure out where he is.....again.
