Dear fellow Shareholder and Investor,
Green Automotive is facing a very busy time on both sides of the Atlantic. Our European based subsidiary GoinGreen, the original electric vehicle specialist which has been selling and repairing EVs in the UK since 2002, successfully launched the Brammo electric motorcycle last week in the UK. Customers and motorcycle journalists were amazed by its incredible performance and attractive design.
The main motorcycle press had the opportunity to ride the world’s fastest electric production bike at the famous Top Gear test track. Motor Cycle Monthly, the UK’s major motorcycle title said: “..with its excellent handling and great performance up to legal speeds, it’s easy to see a market because, well… it’s bloody good fun.” The Sunday Times review was equally as positive:”Brammo’s latest electric machine performs so like a normal bike, it makes fossil fuel look passé.
GoinGreen, who is the exclusive importer for Brammo bikes in the UK, has already received over 50 enquiries to test ride the bike as well as several requests from dealers around the UK interested in selling the innovative motorcycles. And our first bikes have already been sold.
We are confident that our UK subsidiary GoinGreen is on the right track to a successful future and hopefully will be able to roll out its electric vehicle retail concept in the US soon.
In California Newport Coachworks started selling its innovative buses to Mid West Transit, a distributor located in Illinois with 7 outlets across the region. Mid West Transit is one of the main dealers in the US bus market – for over 30 years they have provided high quality, comfortable and safe buses to their customers. We are excited about this great opportunity to be able to cover an additional geographical region and look forward to a long term partnership with Mid West Transit.
In addition we see more and more bus companies moving to eco-friendly solutions. One of our bigger fleet customers, Bell Transportation, recently placed orders for several new buses as the company is migrating its fleet from diesel to CNG. The strength of Newport Coachworks lies in its high quality and ability to personalize its buses to the precise requirements of its customers: We have just delivered one of our Freightliner's to Shelby Racing Company – who have wrapped the bus, turning it into a real piece of art with two beautiful Shelby Cobras on each side (photos on our web site soon!)
The core business continues to develop in the right way, with growth on several fronts. When you consider we had zero sales in June 2012, and just two years later we have a real head of steam going now, this must surely be reflected in the value of our company in the future.
