CORAL SPRINGS, FL--(Marketwired - July 01, 2014) - Union Dental Holdings, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: UDHI) -- http://www.uniondental.com/ir -- a Company that operates and manages a network of dentists throughout the United States for union members, announced today an update to the filing of the European Patent for an ozone purified water disinfector to be used in dental operatories. The filing was done on behalf of the Joint Venture established in 2012 between Union Dental and Drinkable Air. The Company was informed by the EU Patent office that "the technical preparations for the above mentioned European patent application have been completed and are published with the European search report. The application will be published under the number 2684535." The Drinkable Air Chameleon 8 technology was the technology used to develop the Green Ozonator through the JV with the companies and the prototypes are used in the Union Dental offices located in Coral Springs.
This publication will also cover the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) which protects the Patent Pending position for the device in over 150 countries.
Dr. Green, UDHI President and CEO, stated: "It appears all of the Patent offices worldwide are on similar time tables which makes us very pleased and I am thankful to our loyal shareholders for having the patience to endure these 'nervous' technical progressions for our newly developed product through the patent process. We look forward with guarded optimism to a very bright future especially if we receive a patent for the Green Ozonator."
