FNMA Chart: Unusually Low Volume Alert………looking back on the daily chart there have been a couple of 3M range days in the last couple of months…………..on 5/30 3.45M traded & FNMA close at 4.44……..3 trading days later on 6/4 FNMA peaked at 4.80……(you could also go back to the 3.9M on 5/21 on the same run)
Another low volume day was on 4/21……….FNMA traded 3.6M on 4/21 & closed @ 3.76……..on 5/14 FNMA hit 4.80………..the low volume on 4/21 was a precursor to good times ahead……...
The Trend for FNMA has been to head higher after trading days of less then 4M……….the daily chart shows a clear trend of low volume being followed by a rise in share price……..the saying goes, "the trend is your friend", so the signal today's low volume is giving IMO should be stay the course Bulls……..a rise in share price "should" be coming………..
Remember, FNMA headed higher after low volume days while in an Up Trend……FNMA is currently in a Down Trend……..what I'm looking for is to see if the trend of heading higher after low volume continues or if there is a change in trend……….trend recognition is one of the keys to success………$$$
