If memory serves, it may have mentioned access to Google Play, but not whether it would include Google Play. That was the issue with the licensing. You can get any android device to access Google Play in one way or another (as far as i understand it), but the issue I was exploring was whether the NP-1 would actually SHIP with Google Play installed (which requires a license). It's possible that I overlooked something, but i don't think I did.
I totally understand that making everything super-technically specific maybe isn't the best marketing strategy, but at the time, I thought NanoTech was using vague language to mislead people. That's why I nitpicked the details.
