The claim that my tweeting excitement about the Go

I made no reference to NanoTech, nor made any suggestion whatsoever that the conference had anything to do with NanoTech. I stated that I was very excited about the Google IO conference and the new Android TV, period.
That excitement was based on the new tools that Google was going to release, and was completely justified now that I've had my hands on them. It's been a long hard year developing a TV product on an operating system and developer tools that not designed with TV in mind. Finally, with this next generation of tools, Google is putting the proper emphasis on the OS integration into TV's.
I was sent a link from our project manager at nVidia and I tweeted it out. I didn't even find out about the craziness that ensued was somehow being attributed to me stating that a big Google / NanoTech partnership was being announced until the day was long over. I thought that the person who told me was playing some kind of practical joke on me.
If you look back a few months ago, I tweeted a similar message when I was visiting the Google Glass team in San Francisco, and that they had game changing technology. To claim somehow, that me literally saying I was excited about a developers conference and the release of Google's new Android TV tools for developers was an attempt to manipulate investors to buy stock in NanoTech is absolutely ludicrous and a complete stretch.
My excitement about the conference was shared by many others, and was completely justified. The new SDK is amazing, as are the Android TV components. Google gave away thousands of Tegra 4 based Set Top Box development systems, which only ensured that the design choices for the NP-1 were spot on. The Tegra 4 is the reference platform for the next generation of TV apps coming next year.
If I tweet and say that another batch of render nodes has gone one line, that isn't me hinting that NanoTech is about to announce a major deal with HP. If I tweet about a new episode of Trip Flip, it doesn't mean that NanoTech is about to do some deal with Travel Channel. If I tweet about being interviewed about the Aereo case, it doesn't mean NTEK is doing a deal with them.
I have never used social media to do any other than give updates about what is going on in my life and point out things that I find interesting and care to share. I have certainly never leaked out news or violated NDA's by using twitter. I most certainly have never suggested that anyone buy any stock, let alone NanoTech stock.
To try and claim that I was somehow manipulating investors by giving updates about a developers conference, or to claim that investors are spending money investing in a company based on what somebody says on twitter is just ridiculous.
When I tweet about NTEK, I usually use the #NTEK on my tweets. When I tweet about products, such as UltraFlix, I put a hashtag on them. Whenever I tweet about NTEK news, it always references the news article or press release that has been put out. I've never speculated, nor would I speculate about deals that have not been made public.
To insinuate that I wish that the NanoTech stock would have a huge volume day and drop lower than it started is shear madness. I, like everyone that owns NanoTech stock, wants to see it go higher and higher. Every employee at NanoTech wants to see it go higher. The NanoTech team is a group of dedicated hard working people that love thier jobs, and many people have visited NanoTech offices in San Francisco, San Jose, Massachusetts and Hollywood.
As for investments, please, everyone, do your own due diligence, research a company, its products, and its people. If you don't believe the company is a good investment don't invest. But please, don't make investment decisions about buying or selling a stock based on a rumour started by a message board based on an assumption about some hidden meaning in a message on twitter.
