Eagle’s Permian Properties provide an entry point into one of North America’s most productive oil-weighted basins.
The Permian Basin has multi-zone stacked pay that varies in depth from 6,000 feet to 12,000 feet and in age from Permian to Pennsylvanian.
With advancement in drilling and completions technology, the Permian Basin has shown year-over-year reserves additions and is home to two of the hottest horizontal drilling plays (Wolfcamp and Cline) in the US.
Eagle’s Permian Properties are located in the Spraberry (Trend Area) Field, which is a producing oil field that was discovered in 1943 and covers nine counties in the Permian Basin in West Texas.
The wells in the Spraberry Field target a stacked reservoir interval known as the Wolfberry, which consists of multiple oil bearing reservoirs ranging in depth from 8,000 feet to 11,000 feet.
In addition to producing from the Wolfberry, Eagle’s assets also produce from the deeper Pennsylvanian age Strawn and Atoka formations.
Wells are typically completed using multistage hydraulic fracturing methods to stimulate the respective hydrocarbon bearing zones to achieve commercial production levels.
