2014 Thunder Over Michigan Air Show Receives Title Sponsorship
Baltia Air Lines to be named title sponsor
Ypsilanti, Michigan (June 25, 2014) – Thunder Over Michigan Air Show officials announced today that Baltia Air Lines will be the show’s 2014 title sponsor. The 2014 show is to be named the Baltia Air Lines Thunder Over Michigan Air Show. This year's show will feature the United States Air Force Thunderbirds on August 9th and 10th at Willow Run Airport.
Baltia Air Lines, Inc. (BLTA) is a New York corporation headquartered at JFK International Airport in New York with a base of operations at Willow Run Airport outside of Detroit, Michigan. Upon certification, Baltia's goal is to become the leading U.S. airline in the Trans-Atlantic market between the major U.S. cities and capital cities of Eastern Europe, including Russia, Latvia, Ukraine, and Belarus.
"We are very excited to partner with an emerging aviation star like Baltia Air Lines," Kevin Walsh, Thunder Over Michigan Air Show Director said. "Their support will allow us to put on a world-class air show at Willow Run."
Mr. Igor Dmitrowsky, President of Baltia Air Lines stated, “We are very proud to be the lead sponsor of one of America’s premier air shows.”
The Baltia Air Lines Thunder Over Michigan Air Show is held annually at Willow Run Airport in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The event is internationally known as one of the best “warbird shows” in the world. This year’s show features the USAF Thunderbirds and takes place August 9th
and 10th. Also featuring world-class civilian performers, rare historical aircraft, demonstrations from our nation’s military, and the Kidz’ Zone Play area, Baltia Air Lines Thunder Over Michigan Air Show is one of Michigan’s premier summer family fun events.
