I think you missed the gist of my post and who I was replying to.

I was talking to Jaime about the likelihood of any company ever returning from the greys - including the other companies he mentioned in the post I replied to.

I believe the assets of MSJ were transferred back to MSJ when 18 months had passed. Please note February last year was 18 months after the August 17 2011 verdict handed down to BGL. I have commented on this scenario previously. It's in my posting history both here and on Ihub.

I believe that 18 months was the time allowed for an appeal and as BGL had not lodged one by that time, they were precluded from taking the case any further.

I believe the whole reason SRGE was set up in the first place was to protect the assets under dispute with BGL. Once it was clear to MSJ that BGL had lost and could go no further there was no need to keep the assets in dispute with BGL under the control of SRGE - on paper. In reality, I'd guess nothing ever changed at all on the ground in Mexico.

The next step was for the original debt holders to re-take control of the company. As a hedge fund had already employed the bashers to keep knocking the share price down, possibly so they can cover their short position, they called off Momoraptor and let the price drop so they could indeed buy 75% of the shares in the open market. As I've said before, his posting history stops dead, on 25 February last year a fortnight after the 11 February press release saying MSJ had re-acquired all the minng assets of SRGE.

Once that happened, any deal they they negotiated, did not need the approval of a vote of the shareholders - as they own a controlling interest in the company.
