4kids:

It was a big CYA response from Crayola. I won't post my initial letter, but probably the only truthful thing they said was that the relationship has ended. Everything else is CYA

Note the following:

As we continue to explore innovative solutions and understand emerging technologies in this area, there are also other opportunities to broaden the program and how our markers could be repurposed. [also, note the CYA language "continue ..... explore .. emerging, opportunities to broaden ... could be ...." just like with JBI prs, there are always vocabules that allow the parties to later say we never stated these things as facts ... always the "we're exploring ..." language .... Maybe Bordynuik could work in the PR dept at Crayola ...]

So, why did they end the relationship with JBI, if JBI has the greatest pyrolysis process in the world, and why would they mention "other opportunities"? Just as with Madison County, JBI failed to live up to the initial understanding between JBI and Crayola, and now they're looking at things other than pyrolysis

Crayola is still using the plastic-to-energy process to turn markers into clean fuel.

I also asked, with whom? And this question was ignored. Why? In the initial brouhaha of exhileration surrounding this "partnership", we saw JBI JBI JBI JBI mentioned in all the press releases and all over the ColorCycle website.

If Crayola is indeed "using the plastic-to-energy process", they must be doing it with one or more other companies than JBI..... Why wouldn't they publicly mention these companies .... They did so previously with JBI

Has the odour of CYA all over it
