Crayola's relationship with JBI has ended Just
Post# of 43064
Just got this response from Crayola to an e-mail I sent them last week:
[and WHY weren't we told this by those in contact with JBI? Although, I have noticed that Crayola, which like RKT and Madison County was trumpeted to high heavens as IRREFUTABLE VETTING of JBI, has not been mentioned by the "longs" in a while now. Just a coincidence? Man, this is like shooting fish in a barrel]
Dear Paul,
Thank you for contacting us for more information about our Crayola(R) ColorCycle program, our latest sustainability initiative designed to repurpose Crayola markers.
While there have been a few changes, rest assured our Crayola ColorCycle program remains strong. You may be interested in knowing that our relationship with JBI has ended. While JBI Inc. had the appropriate technology to pilot the launch of our ColorCycle program, we learned a lot in the first year and are continuing to evolve the ColorCycle program, bringing in new partners where appropriate.
In addition, Crayola is still using the plastic-to-energy process to turn markers into clean fuel. As we continue to explore innovative solutions and understand emerging technologies in this area, there are also other opportunities to broaden the program and how our markers could be repurposed.
We appreciate your reaching out to us for more information. Please visit Crayola.com for more details and ColorCycle program updates.
Best wishes for a colorful future, Paul!
Colorfully yours,
