Dow futures join global selloff as Apple, data weigh
U.S. GDP data due at 8:30 a.m. Eastern time
FRANKFURT (MarketWatch) — U.S. stock index futures posted steep losses Friday, taking part in a global equity selloff triggered in part by weaker-than-expected results from Apple Inc. a day earlier and underwhelming Asian economic data.
That leaves investors to look ahead to the first estimate of U.S. growth in the third quarter later Friday for a reading on the economy’s recent strength. http://www.marketwatch.com/story/stock-future...beforebell
