MARINA DEL REY, CA--(Marketwired - Jun 19, 2014) - The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey has revamped its children's activities at the hotel to include its first ever outdoor movie night held in the Rose Garden every Saturday evening beginning at dusk.
Children between the ages of 4 and 12 can enjoy complimentary treats such as popcorn as well as a variety of soft drinks while they stretch out beneath the palm trees and watch family-oriented classics on a large projection screen. Nearby, parents can keep an eye on their children in a designated "adult viewing area" located just a few steps above the Rose Garden, where they can order hand-crafted cocktails and culinary creations from the resorts outdoor restaurant Wave Poolside Bar + Grill.
"As a parent, when my children are engaging in activities, it allows me to truly enjoy the amenities of a hotel," says Anthony Hartwell, Director of Hotel Operations. Hartwell and the other Ladies and Gentlemen of The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey plan to offer the Outdoor Movie Night weekly, unless the Rose Garden is hosting a special event. In that case, he explains, the activity will be relocated to another area.
