Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On October 25 , 2012, Life Partners Holdings, Inc. (“ we ”) announced the appointment of Colette C. Pieper, age 58, as our Chief Financial Officer (principal financial officer), effective November 19 , 2012 . We shall pay Ms. Pieper an annual salary of $165,000 and provide her with a standard benefit package, which includes a 401K retirement plan and healthcare insurance. She will be eligible for discretionary performance-based bonuses in amounts determined by the Compensation Committee.
There are no related party transactions between us and Ms. Pieper. There were no arrangements or understandings between Ms. Pieper and any other person pursuant to which she was appointed as Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Pieper is not related to any of our directors or executive officers by blood, marriage or adoption
