Did anybody see the movie The American President?

Did anybody see the movie The American President? When the president (Michael Douglas) is being attacked and losing in the polls and his press secretary (Michel J Fox) tells him that people are thirsty for leadership and when they don't get it they will drink the sand. Great movie and I'm paraphrasing, but the point is the bashers are the only ones talking! IMO Jeff needs to step up to the plate and take a swing! Silence makes you look guilty! Go ahead and bash me I don't care. Your time might be better served emailing Jeff and telling him to say something.
