I am late to the game..but what was the purpose of

I am late to the game..but what was the purpose of running a negative pr?...Did MD feel compelled to say this because he is trying to be honest as he can...If there were a brokerage firm in the future, he wouldn't need to create a pr....i am a long, but skeptical investor in BCAP...who out there can make me feel better?...hopefully a near term setback for a company in progress...
