TUCSON, AZ--(Marketwired - Jun 17, 2014) - The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain will host three days of July 4, 2014 weekend festivities , to be highlighted by the resort's Red, White and Bluegrass Barbecue and annual fireworks spectacular on July 4 th . The fireworks show and holiday dining offerings are open to the public as well as resort guests.
The Red, White and Bluegrass Barbecue buffet will feature outdoor favorites including ribs, chicken, potato salad, corn on the cob and more, as well as live entertainment by a country DJ, presented from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. on July 4 th . Added weekend dining festivities will include the popular CORE Wine Experience and Tequila Experience, Sushi and Sake in Ignite Lobby Lounge, Happy Hour and indoor/outdoor dinner at Cayton's Burger Bistro, and day-long poolside dining at Turquesa Pool. Throughout the weekend, resort guests can also keep a lookout for the popular Roadrunner Food Truck, providing a mobile ice cream truck experience at the property's numerous swimming pools and recreation areas.
Guests staying at the luxury resort can enjoy an added family-friendly roster of all-ages adventures for the weekend, from a Cosmic Slide Party at the main swimming pool and its 235-foot water slide, to a Saturday Dive-In Movie at the Serenity Pool, to Ranger-guided night walks and hikes. Miniature golf, Friday evening stargazing, a Friday evening fireworks hike and a well-equipped Kids' Zone will also be available during the weekend.
