I wouldn't doubt it. Madison County seems like a charlatan's dream victim--gullible with a lot of money. Almost two years ago someone came to them and said they could take all of Madison County's unwashed plastic and turn it into diesel and Madison County fell for the story hook, line and sinker. After Madison County allocated money and resources to collect all of the plastic from farmers, they were told that the county's plastic couldn't be accepted after all so too bad...and Madison County decided to take the hit on behalf of county's residents and forget about the tax revenues they flushed rather than sue the liar.

Madison County's elected officials probably weren't the best choice for Madison County's residents.
