I understand now. Your thoughts are running along the lines that the guy at Baltia who answered the phone (and who sells PP) told Iamidiot it was a cash infusion kind of like a selling point, since a cash infusion would make Iamidiot's investment less of a risk.

Then let me further add this: The top investors made a Gentlemen's agreement among each other to each commit at a certain point in the process to make sure that Baltia remains fully funded as it proceeds through the final stages of its certification. For instance, I am one of three who has made the commitment to ensure that Baltia has enough capital to meet its fueling needs during its proving flights.
In other words, you can rest assured that N706BL will never remain stranded on the tarmac as Baltia struggles to find the money necessary to purchase fuel. Should the need arise, HQ has a list of people that they can call upon to step in and prevent any uncomfortable situations from developing.
"We" are basically ensuring that "they" can focus on the important aspects of getting Baltia certified and not have to worry about reasonable money issues (I say "reasonable" because no one is about to buy Barry a private plane just because he might complain that it is only fair because Igor got one).
