This is a great article and listen to the interview with George Routhier if you can. Lots of information, George gives his contact information if you'd like to do some DD and contact him. The article came out on May 20th, 2014. This is unbiased with no bashing or pumping, just straight forward information from someone who is working the license process for companies.
Especially the section on "How Many Licenses will be Granted in 2014?" and also in the interview at minute 14:15, it is stated only 25 - 30 more licenses will be granted this year in his opinion.

13 "listed licenses" another 9 companies waiting in the wings till they have a product to list on HC
22 licensed to date, but only 13 listed on the website
