JBI doesn't just need $200K to fix the processors.

First, they need $275,000.00 just to cover Bordynuik's base-salary for another year. They probably also pay his medical, dental, etc. He gets a company car, and assorted other perks.
Then they need some hundreds of thousands more dollars to pay legal fees for the handful of lawsuits in which JBI and Bordynuik are juggling as defendants.
Then they need to pay exorbitant fees for the Directors and Officers insurance, since they have been nailed by the SEC for fraud, and Bordynuik admitted to illegally distributing shares and other crimes in the OSC settlement. Add in another bunch of hundreds of thousands of dollars for that.
Then they need to pay the salaries of the 11 remaining employees, probably friends and family of Bordynuik, who have been sitting around for the last 5 months, and will be sitting around playing scrabble for quite a while longer, as the processors are idle.
So we're probably up to a couple million by now, just to keep the trough filled with enough gravy for a small number of hungry mouths.
And so it goes, on and on and on.
It takes big bucks to keep the show on stage.
