Concordis Group is a unique financial services and consulting company based in Destin, Florida. We specialize in offering unsurpassed alternative risk management solutions, captive insurance consulting, and management services.
We are unique in that we often take an equity position in the captives we launch and manage. As captive investors, our interests are 100% aligned with our clients'. We enable those who have a strong balance sheet, but a capital liquidity short fall to fund a captive by partnering with us and enjoying the many benefits of this powerful risk management strategy.
As an innovator in the industry we are passionate about finding better ways to provide risk management solutions for our clients. Our innovative spirit is apparent in everything we do including our unique business model, our distinct client services and risk methodologies, and our value-driven pricing structure.
We studied how the leading firms do it and decided we—and our clients—wanted an alternative approach with a genuine business partner. We also realize that the best possible alternative risk management practices change quickly. You must continually improve, if only to meet constantly rising expectations.
CNGI ~ Services
Concordis is solely dedicated to providing member owned group captive and alternative risk financing solutions to companies throughout North America. We focus on the middle market because there is a shortage of expertise and properly designed alternative risk insurance products that can give middle market companies the edge that has been enjoyed by the Fortune 1000 and top global companies for decades. Large corporations know that trading dollars with insurance companies and “playing” the insurance market cycles can be very volatile, and generally is not good for business.
Traditional insurance is not a one size fits all solution. Concordis Group, Inc. offers a variety of captive Insurance and alternative risk management products to address the risks faced by most small and mid-sized businesses. Insureds with low risk frequently are not rewarded by traditional insurance.
For many of our corporate clients, traditional one size fits all insurance fails to adequately address their insurance and risk management needs in an efficient or affordable way. An industry innovator, Concordis Group, Inc. provides risk and financing alternatives, through our subsidiary Concordis Capital, for low risk employers who are currently using high-cost commercial insurance.
Concordis builds group and association captives, as well as stand-alone programs, designed to lower risks and improve premium savings. Concordis captive programs are designed to lower risk and provide premium savings for groups, associations and individual businesses. These customized programs lower administration costs, which Concordis passes along to its customers in the form of lower premiums, and allows greater flexibility in claims administration, policy structure, and reinsurance options.
What Are Captives

"We are professionals of insurance companies, we don't sell insurance. Our responsibility is to see that the fiduciary aspect of the insurance business is complied with, that the insurance company is capable of paying losses when they occur. Our expertise is in protecting the net assets of the captive."
-Frederic Reiss, Founder of Captive Insurance
