Risk parameters for all Commodity Derivatives Contracts will be updated based on a monthly review.
The updated parameters will have impact on the calculation of the daily margin requirement for which collateral must be posted by 10:30 CET on Tuesday, June 17, 2014.
Margin curves are increased for several Tanker Clean, Tanker Dirty and Fuel Oil contracts due to increase in liquidation period for these contracts (see Exchange and Clearing Information no 59/14) which will lead to slightly higher margin requirements for naked positions in these contracts. Other margin curves have minor changes, which will not impact margin requirements in general. Updated margin curves can be found at:
