Congrats to you and thanks! That buy is causing problems for those short to be sure. Do they go in even deeper selling more shares they do not have to try and avoid margin calls or do they risk someone buying another 100 shares at an even higher price? What if the price rose to say $100.00 per share or more prior to the meeting?
What might management be planning to announce? Cash dividend?
Forward split of the 55,000. shares not held by Mr. Lenfest? Combination of both cash and stock? Think of the ramificationsn to any hedge fund that is short. Will we read about some jumping out windows? Whoever suggested the course of action TEVE has followed deserves kudos imho as for the first time in 15 years the company is in control of its shares not the criminals! Go TEVE!!!
