Rossell brings a depth of financial management and investment banking expertise in healthcare services, retail and industrial manufacturing. Rossell will lead the company's financial management strategy and serve as a member of the senior leadership team. This newly created role and Rossell's hire directly align with the company's plan to expand its education technology offerings including GoNoodle, an online suite of interactive physical activity breaks or "brain breaks," designed to improve student health, performance and focus.
Most recently, Rossell served as co-founder and chief financial officer of NeighborMD Management, LLC, a Nashville-based retail urgent care start-up. Rossell led the company through several rounds of financing and strategic acquisitions that resulted in its sale to a joint venture between CareSpot Express Healthcare and TriStar Health (a division of HCA).
