DURHAM, N.C., June 10, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- EMRISE CORPORATION (OTCQB:EMRI), a multi-national manufacturer of defense and aerospace electronic devices and communications equipment, today announced that it has received a $1.2 million order for communication equipment to be used in a public utility company communications network.
The order was received by the Company's CXR AJ subsidiary, and is expected to ship complete in the third quarter of 2014.
EMRISE Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Carmine T. Oliva said, "We believe this order is an indication of the continuing strength in our communications equipment markets in the U.K. and continental Europe, which are key geographic market areas for us."
Oliva also noted that the overall order rate and strength of the back log for the Company's communications equipment and electronic devices products experienced in this year's first quarter have continued.
