It also wouldn't be the first time that a failing

Between the scammers who run the OTC scams, and the scammers who try to make money trading this worthless crap through pumping and bashing, it's hard to know who's telling the truth.
I just quickly read through the SeekingAlpha article that Terra Tech alleges to be libelous, and the documents linked to for the lawsuits and such appear to be authentic. If the Clark County commissioners were aware of this information, it's understandable they wouldn't want to do business with Terra Tech. Additionally, anyone with a brain in Terra Tech's boots, competing for the rights to dispense pot in Clark County, would have felt the need in their application to point out that there has been negative information posted about them on the internet, with proof that the information is false (if it really was false). The odds were pretty high that someone involved in reviewing the applications would simply google names at some point to see what they could find for each applicant. Anonymous emails from shorters not necessary.
For an article or email to be libelous, it must contain false information. All Terra Tech has to do to nullify the statements they allege to be libelous is to write a SeekingAlpha article of their own, or put out a PR, pointing out which statements are false, and provide the truth with proof. Easy enough. And once done, such an article or document can be included as an appendix to their applications when competing for dispensary rights.
