(NASDAQ: NDAQ ) announces today the results of the semi-annual review of NASDAQ OMX Iceland’s leading index OMX Iceland 8, (NASDAQ OMX Iceland: OMXI8ISK), which will become effective at the market open on July 1, 2014. Changes reflect the previously announced (1 April 2014) expansion of the OMX Iceland Index from six to eight companies.

The OMX Iceland 8 Index is NASDAQ OMX Iceland’s leading index and consists of the eight most liquid shares on the Exchange.
