Let me paint a picture for you.
Think of the S.E.C. as the police for the financial markets. that is essentially what they are.
Now imagine that you are a police officer patrolling a brand new stretch of Highway.
(The highway represents the MMJ sector.)
Here are the vehicles that you see: (The vehicles represent MMJ companies.)
A brand new truck with all the currant stickers,(FITX) being driven by a responsible driver, (Bill C.) who is driving the speed limit, and using his turn signals, and has a former police officer (John G) that you know, is riding shotgun.
Some punk kid (an inexperienced manager) in a souped up rat rod, (Some other MMJ company) without a license plate, or stickers, is speeding, weaving though traffic, not using signals, and doing donuts in the meridian. (basically just playing fast and loose with the laws.)
Now, which one are You going to pull over?
I feel perfectly safe riding in the back seat of that truck. I trust this driver.
