"BG Medical’s medical cannabis platform, BudGenius.com, operates in both the largest state approved population for medical cannabis dispensaries nationwide and the most densely populated local region, California and the Los Angeles metropolitan area, respectively."

Links below visually put into perspective, "RECORD HIGH 1,140 WEED SHOPS STILL OPERATE IN L.A. DESPITE BAN."
Quote:
"Last year Los Angeles voters essentially outlawed all marijuana dispensaries in town. Prop. D, which passed 62 percent in favor to 37 percent opposed, grants limited immunity to the 135 or fewer legit weed stores still standing following a 2007 City Council moratorium on pot sellers.
As we've said, that leaves about 90 percent or so of our town's pot shops eligible to be closed down. And the L.A. City Attorney's office and LAPD say they've been making headway.
Well, not so fast:
The city Office of Finance, in declaring this week that it has collected $8.6 million in business taxes from self-proclaimed medical marijuana collectives since April 18, 2011, noted the number of said shops paying tribute to the fine people of Los Angeles today is ... 1,140."

My opinion, I personally didn't count all the Buds below, but I'd wager there's more than 1,140. Lots of rev potential $$$ for BG Medical in LA alone...
Take "the green thought" one step further, click on "Select Region." Count the dozens of California cities and suburbs with 100's more dispensaries listed in California, BG may be ready to capitalize on.
Collectively, BG Medical is sitting on a honey pot - far greater than Colorado, Washington, Michigan, Arizona, etc. combined...

DEBATE TO LEGALIZE POT IS ABOUT TO GET INTERESTING
Two weeks ago, Gov. Jerry Brown, no fan of marijuana legalization, mused on "Meet the Press" about the world's many dangers and the need to stay alert, "if not 24 hours a day, more than some of the potheads might be able to pull together."
Last week, Brown's own California Democratic Party held its annual convention and voted to fully embrace marijuana legalization.
And Brown's often nettlesome understudy, Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom, told a convention audience that he is all-in on the side of legalization."
And just 6 days ago, this article popped up.
"Lt. Governor Newsom believes that marijuana should be legalized, and is falling behind other states such as Colorado. He stated California is no longer the leader in progressive ideas and legislation and is falling behind other states. This is the opposite view point of Governor Brown.

And Newsom is heavily favored in the fall...
