If you really think about it, there are basically two groups here; the Longs and the Shorts.
The Longs buy and hold and wait it out, hoping to make a killing on their initial investment when things finally take off. They are team players, doing DD and sharing it amongst other investors. They tell it as honestly as they see it - and they could be wrong - but they truthfully believe what they post. They want to see everyone make $.
The Shorts are solo players whose only real concern is making money for themselves. They don't do any real DD, but rather they just wait for something to come out and then they twist the DD (that is presented here by the Longs) into some absurd story. For instance, I saw this twice today: once here when a poster said Luis's purchase was like about $3,000 (he really didn't think before twisting that one, did he?) and then again on the other board, when someone tried to suggest Luis's infusion of real dollars was actually some kind of an interest payment or something. You see, those who do their DD know that Luis's interest isn't going to get paid until AFTER Baltia starts earning revenues. The sad part is that the shorts are so concerned with making money.....and getting people to panic and drop their shares...that sometimes they don't even think their distortions through. Their goal is to make money at some other persons expense. They consider themselves "shrewd businessmen."
The Shorts are the ones who get most upset - the whiners as I called them - because they are expecting to make money every day, and BLTA doesn't give them that ability. No doubt they are the ones pulling out their hair, biting their nails, and popping antacid pills.
Hence, the reason why the Longs and the Shorts don't get along. A Long digs deep and hard to find DD, and a short immediately mocks his efforts and spews BS and garbage....often bringing up the past as if that proves their point today (Haven't the Shorts ever seen the statement that past performance can not be used to predict future performance?).
The only salvation that I can see for the Longs is to wait it out....stick to your original plan.....point out the errors inherent in the Shorts posts....and continue to do your DD.
Fortunately those Longs who remain have been able to stomach the posts of the Shorts for all this time, and even more fortunately the BS of the Shorts is quickly coming to an end.
The next few months will tell. If Baltia doesn't wrap this up in 2014, then there will be no real reason for this board comes January 1st.
