Validian Provides Update on the Commercial Roll Out of Its
Disruptive Top-Down Next Generation Cyber Security
Google Android Mobile Platform Launch Still On Target for Q3
Ottawa, June 4, 2014 - Validian Corp. (OTCQB: VLDI), first-to-market with next
generation cyber security technology that provides secure access of critical applications
and secure access, transfer and storage of digital information on wired, wireless and
mobile networks over the Internet, today is pleased to provide an update on the
development and commercial roll out its core, disruptive top-down cyber security
technology platform, ValidianProtect. The current version 2.1 has been completed,
including all features and capabilities for non-mobile and web applications.
Recently, Validian has completed the debugging of bugs in ValidianProtect identified by
Channel Partners during usage following a series of installations made by Validian in Q4
2013 and Q1 2014. Validian is now upgrading each of these existing installations with the
mutual objective of commencing the integration of ValidianProtect into their applications.
Furthermore, Validian's Channel Partner for some major companies, organizations and
certain countries in the Defense and Public Safety sectors is now continuing the
integration of ValidianProtect into the first of its key applications that are deployed in
these sectors.
Moreover, Validian has completed the development and testing of its first 3 phases for the
migration of ValidianProtect to mobile platforms, initially for Google Android. Validian has
already commenced the development of the final phase, which means Validian is still on
target to launch ValidianProtect version 3.0 for mobile on Google Android in Q3 2014
followed thereafter on Mac iOS.
Bruce Benn, Validian President and CEO, commented, “We are very pleased to be
making steady progress in installations, integrations into commercial applications and
completion to mobile platforms, which will generate installed endpoints that not only
generate revenue but also are the basis for transitioning from a pure cyber security
technology play to an "endpoint" play where M&A valuations increase significantly."
