First reply:
We still own the design of the Kestrel, but we gave up the ownership of the molds and existing parts for the car so it's maybe a bit cloudy. As far as I know Hemp Technologies wouldn't really know what to do with the tooling unless they contacted myself or my old business partner
Second reply:
What happened is CIC (Composites Innovation Center) out of Manitoba built the tools/molds and made a few parts. They were doing testing and research on the bio-composites. When Motive closed we couldn't afford to ship the molds or store them so we gave up the rights to CIC to do as they pleased with them. Hemp tech came along and took the molds from them. Here's a pic of what CIC made:dmckeage.blogspot.ca/2013/10/more-kestrel-shots-this-must-be.html As far as the formula, I don't think there was any transfer there. We worked with CIC on that and I don't think Motive really retained any ownership of that. I would suggest following up with XXXXXXXXX CIC and he can probably give you the most information on the status of the formula and who transaction"
