Bugged Out- We may have the intellectual proper
Post# of 56323
We may have the intellectual property for the design of the mold, but not the component it produces, nor the composite material that is used. Owning the molds only gives us the ability to produce parts if there is a purchase order from the Kestrel project. We don't have the ability to simply make parts and have someone come along and buy them if they wish. If/when the car design changes, new molds will be needed. Owning the current molds does not guarantee that we will win the business for the new design.
Again, this is not our core business. CEN Biotech/Creative Edge Nutrition/Hemp Technologies is not in the automotive production industry where lean manufacturing principles are deployed everywhere, volumes are high and gross margins are razor thin.
I think it's cool that we may be part of something that expands the interest of hemp applications and may act as a marketing tool for us, but this particular project is not something that will have a direct bottom line impact.
