(the "Company" or "Ximen") (TSX-V: XIM ) (OTCQX:XXMMF) is pleased to announce that Dr. Michael Rasmussen has joined the Ximen Team. In addition to sitting on the Advisory board, Dr. Rasmussen will be an active member of the exploration crew, assisting Linda Carron, M.Sc., P.Eng, in the advancement of the Brett Gold Project.

During his 25 years in the mining sector, Dr. Rasmussen has served as VP Exploration for Mines Management, Inc, and Endeavour Silver Corp., and has held senior roles at Echo Bay Mines and Kinross Gold Corp. From 1990—2004, Dr. Rasmussen acquired extensive experience in Tertiary epithermal and Mesozoic syngenetic gold deposits of the Boundary District of NE Washington—SE British Columbia. He is credited with the discovery of the Emanuel Creek epithermal gold deposit (Kinross' K-4 and K-5 deposits) for Echo Bay Mines. Since 2004 he has evaluated precious metal prospects and conducted exploration programs in Mexico, Peru, British Columbia, Quebec, and the western United States. Dr. Rasmussen earned a PhD in Economic Geology from the University of Washington for his work on the Early Jurassic Overlook and Lamefoot gold deposits of the Republic, WA district. He is a member of several organizations including SEG, GSA, AME-BC, PDAC, and AEMA. He is licensed as a Professional Geologist by the Washington State Board of Geologists (#2692) and the American Institute of Professional Geologists (CPG 11187).
The Ximen Advisory Board has been created to provide additional strategic advice to management as the Company focuses on developing its precious metal assets.
