The American company Hollund Industrial Marine, Inc., announces that it has the respective environmental licenses and that you will soon be able to remove the woods submerged under water of the Bayano Lake.
Company, an expert in forest management under the water, significantly increased its shareholding in the project "Bayano Lake Wood Products" covering 2,470 acres of tropical forest in the eastern part of Panama.
"... Following the results of an investigation of the area under water in the province of Darién, Panama, Hollund announced the discovery of more than 20 commercial species of wood. According to the survey, which was carried out by "Bayano Lake Wood Products", one-third of the wood in the deposit consists of valuable, such as Rosewood or Cocobolo wood. Two thirds of the wood include the soft woods such as Espave."
"Hollund has not yet reported its schedule of work for the submerged wood harvest, but it cites that it already has with the respective Government authorization to start the work, noting in his announcement that the term of the concession permit is five years, with renewal option. The objective of the activities of logging is the accessible timber in permitted areas of the project, with the aim of selling it or transform it into forest products."
