Baltika’s consolidated sales revenue from continued operations for May totalled 4,574 thousand euros, increasing by 5% compared to the same period last year.
Baltika’s consolidated retail sales revenue for May was 4,278 thousand euros, increasing 3% compared to the same period last year. Wholesale increased by 84% compared to May in previous year, e-com sales decreased by 38%.

Retail sales increased in Baltic states by 6%, thereof in Latvia +19%, in Lithuania +10% and decreased in Estonia by 3%. In Russia retail sales decreased by 11% compared to same period previous year. In local currency sales increased in Russia by 5%.
At the end of May Baltika Group had 126 stores, among which 2 franchise stores in Belarus and 17 franchise stores in Ukraine. At the end of month the sales area of shops operated by Baltika was 20,189 square metres and the month average sales area increased by 2% compared to the same period last year.
Consolidated sales revenue for the 5 months totalled 21,008 thousand euros, increasing +4% yoy. Retail sales revenue was 19,200 thousand euros (+2% yoy), including Baltic states sales growth +8%. Wholesale was 1,632 thousand euros (+27% yoy) and e-com revenues 118 thousand euros (+37% yoy).
In connection with Baltika’s exit from the Ukrainian retail business and selling the company there (agreement was signed on 29 April 2014), the sales revenue of the Ukrainian entity is presented as discontinued operation. Sales announcement presents only the results of continuing operations unless indicated otherwise.
